Specific Duties/Responsibilities
The Marketing Associate will play a key role in helping to drive Care.com's growth in Business to Business channels. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a combination of strong communication and analytical skills who is passionate about marketing. He or she must thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, pay great attention to detail, have a strong intellectual curiosity, a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and a strong desire to succeed. Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
--Implementing, managing & analyzing the performance of marketing programs (including email marketing, webinars, events & sponsorships, social media, etc)
--Providing sales and account management support, including maintaining client relationships
--Generating ideas for new marketing programs and promotions, both for acquisition and client retention purposes
--Coordinating creative development
--Presenting analyses & making recommendations to the marketing team and executives
Skills/Experience Requirements:
--Extensive Internship or 1 or more years of relevant work experience in an internet or direct marketing business. Specific B-to-B marketing experience a plus.
--Excellent project management skills, including the ability to multi-task and execute efficiently with a close attention to detail
--Analytical approach and ability to creatively solve problems
--Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
--Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
--A team player with a good sense of humor
--Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity
--High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth environment
Education/Other Pre-requisites:
--Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
