Responsible for executing acquisition marketing plans for TripIt. Collaborate with marketing manager to implement marketing campaigns and initiatives focused on growing the health and size of our free and pro customer base. Reports to Consumer Marketing Manager
Collaborates with manager to implement consumer marketing strategies and plan to grow the TripIt Free and Pro base.
Manages, evaluates, and constantly assesses all marketing programs to scale/drive the businesses successfully.
Works with internal and external teams to implement online marketing acquisition campaigns (mainly SEM, web, mobile display, and in-app advertising).
Partners with PR/social to drive positive awareness, media coverage, and WOM among key influencers, analysts, and the media through media and social channels.
Partners with direct marketing and the Product Management to ensure on-boarding and the customer experience is relevant, personalized, brand & business building.
Manages ongoing marketing performance analysis and optimization.
Gathers and shares ongoing customer insight and analysis of our consumer products.
Collaborates with R&D and Product Management to influence the product roadmap that will delight consumers and drive innovation
Supports ad sales organization as needed on large partner promotions and opportunities.
Continually refines/updates all standard messaging, positioning, and collateral for TripIt
Gathers monthly invoices and accruals and works closely with Account Payables to ensure budget consistency
Executes marketing partnerships and promotions to grow and expand consumer offerings with brands aligned with our positioning
Works with Consumer Marketing Manager to investigate and implement new acquisition-building programs (e.g., referral program)
Education, Experience & Training required:
Bachelor?s degree required
3+ years in Marketing, Product/Program Management, Product Marketing roles
Relevant experience in consumer marketing at a fast-growing internet or cutting edge technology service company
Track record of implementing successful marketing plans; acquisition marketing in the digital/mobile space preferred
Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills ? able to motivate and work with various internal and external groups
Extremely resourceful ? leveraging all resources both internal and externally to drive business performance
Experience implementing and analyzing digital campaigns
Excel and budgeting experience required
Strong presentation skills
Analytical and tracking experience required
Mobile experience is a plus
