PaySimple is seeking a metrics-driven Marketing Automation Manager with killer writing skills to oversee the funnel marketing strategy and tactics. This role includes conception and execution of email marketing campaigns, conversion rate analysis, lead scoring, nurturing, and management & administration of the tools required to complete these initiatives.
You find yourself decidedly in between the math-centric and creative fields because you love (and are good at) both. (i.e. You're a bit of a math nerd, but love blogging, writing and other creative outlets.) You're fascinated with digital marketing because it allows you to rapidly test new ideas and measure the results. You love working in an energetic team environment and working with other departments to collaborate strategies.

Build the strategy behind lead nurturing programs, and implement campaigns to test your insights!
Manage and execute inbound drip marketing campaigns, optimizing content and flow, to achieve higher conversion rates
Manage the funnel marketing systems, including Marketo, Salesforce connections, form and lead tracking management
Work with Marketing and Sales business owners to gather business requirements (scoring, nurturing, routing) and incorporate into business systems (Marketo and Salesforce.com)
Report on campaign metrics, closed loop reporting and ROI, analyzing impact of programs on sales funnel stages
Continually strategize new ways ? using new content, creative designs, and integrated communication tactics ? to increase customer engagement at every stage of the buying cycle
Experience and Skills:
At least 3 years experience with marketing automation technology (preferably Marketo), lead scoring, and lead nurturing
Working knowledge of CRM tools (preferably Salesforce.com)
Strong analytical abilities ? correlations, trends, cause and effect ? as well as experience building email and funnel reporting
Ninja Excel skills, including pivot tables and insightful report building
Comfort working with multiple software and analytics platforms ? must have a passion for measuring effectiveness!
Demonstrated ability to set up and improve systems and processes
Demonstrated strategic approach to marketing automation and testing
Basic HTML and email editing capabilities
Experience managing a lead database, including list management
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and technical aptitude
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field
