We are seeking an individual to play a pivotal role in Gen9?s growth. You will be responsible for telling the company story, managing the Gen9 brand, and marketing the company to increase brand awareness. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you will actively participate in developing brand vision, positioning and strategies to achieve business goals for the Gen9 brand.
Understand business goals and translate marketing strategies and plans into activities/campaigns that market the company and the brand.
Act as an ambassador for the brand, directing the development and effective communication of campaign programs, projects and initiatives that meet marketing and business goals.
Develop creative briefs and message matrices including value propositions, positioning statements, differentiators and proof points to guide content production.
Direct overall brand Public Relations strategy, providing oversight to PR agency in support of corporate and brand communication that creates buzz about the company. Monitor PR activities and distribute materials to internal team. Manage public relations, press releases, and outside communication.
Manage outside event presence, including conference attendance, sponsorships, workshops, and key presentations
Manage the evolvement of the digital and social media presence of the brands, including websites, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Adwords, etc. Ensure company website remains current and fresh; monitor SEO and adjust so that Gen9 is always prominent in organic search results throughout the globe.
Work with external creative professionals to develop the visual brand identity that effectively communicates the brand story.
Measure, analyze and report on ROI of campaigns and other marketing activities.
Requires a BS or higher in a Scientific discipline and MBA with a focus in Marketing; or a BS in Marketing with a minimum of 5 years experience in a Life Science company.
Minimum 3 years of Marketing Communications experience with a demonstrated record of accomplishment in a rapidly growing Life Science company.
Track record of developing strategies to enhance a brand position in the marketplace.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Demonstrated project management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
