We are looking for a Marketing and PR Manager to join the Cardlytic's team! The ideal candidate will be putting our strategies to work in the marketplace, helping to build our brand as a thought leader as you develop meaningful relationships with our stakeholders and customers. As a member of the marketing team, the candidate will work internally across multiple disciplines at Cardlytics, including product management, sales management, analytics, and directly with partners and customers to develop and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Skills and Requirements
Maintain strategic perspective and optimize the opportunity impact across our marketing communications, public relations and sales investments company-wide
Ensure that our brand is positioned as a thought-leader with all constituents. Closely monitor and manage our communications across channels to ensure consistent messaging
Implement effective and efficient marketing and public relations programs that accurately position an describe our products and solutions, and are intuitive and compelling for our target audiences
Oversee the implementation of marketing materials for external audiences including one-sheets, presentations, videos, info-graphics and other materials
Oversee the implementation of media relations initiatives in the retail and financial sectors, including writing/editing press releases, co-developing media pitches, supporting executive interviews, editing articles and by-lines and producing support materials
Manage multiple public relations firms targeted at specific sectors and audiences
Provide oversight to the company's thought leadership messaging and content on all public digital media and through our social media channels. Maintain the corporate social media policy and monitor social channels to ensure compliance
Closely coordinate public relations initiatives with media events, conferences, seminars, webinars, workshops and customer events. Manage the company's participation in awards and nominations
Monitor market and industry news, trends and strategies, actively contributing to the intelligence of the marketing team and company overall, including outreach to influencers to help build a community of brand ambassadors
Anticipate and prepare to address questions and issues from the various constituents, including explaining complex concepts with confidence
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing marketing initiatives, including efforts in both marketing communications and public relations for a B2B or B2B2C brand, including success in securing print and digital media placement.
Excellent project and time management skills are essential, as are attention to detail and strong written and oral presentation skills. Experience working in/with financial institutions or retail banking is a big plus.
An understanding of the complementary role of social media to brand building and thought-leadership is desired. Experience and/or understanding of the landscape of advertising technology, specifically e-commerce and/or mobile commerce platforms are also pluses. Comfort in a fast-paced environment, with collaborative decision-making and strong work ethic are great matches with our company culture.
