Description
Marketing Communications Consultant
The Marketing Communications Consultant will manage multiple aspects of producing video, print and web content, including newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials. In addition, the Marketing Communications Consultant will manage the company?s social media campaigns and track community influencers and proposing ways in which they can be leveraged. The Marketing Communications Consult will also serve in support capacity for the marketing team through administrative duties. The ideal consultant has good Marcom generalist experience plus knowledge of video production and social media.
Specific responsibilities include:
Video coordination/production
Social media postings
Aggregating content from subject matter experts and managing copyediting and review cycles
Monitor blogs and alerts
Track metrics including growth, impressions, and sentiment on all pages; deliver quarterly review presentation detailing review and assessments for each page
Web marketing updates
Collateral production
Incorporating design elements, content and graphics into existing templates
External vendor management
Daily posts for Facebook and Twitter sites
Tracking POs and other financial tracking/reconciliation as needed
Skills:
4-6 years of marketing communications experience preferably in the life sciences industry
Must have video production process as a core part of your past job. Must have video production tools/solutions experience
Ability to drive projects forward in a rapidly changing environment; must be able to manage through the editing/review process
Proven experience developing collaborative relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
Ability to prioritize simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive approach to building relationships across internal teams
Able to juggle multiple projects and manage input from multiple internal team members
Understand the structure of intranet / internet web sites, their components and the connection between/role of social media in both areas. Requires a firm grasp of the potential of social media applications and awareness of the evolution of emerging tools and platforms
Understand the role of Facebook, Twitter, blogs, YouTube, and other technologies as part of a digital media mix
Strong quantitative analytical skills, especially campaign analysis and online analytics tools (e.g.: Google Analytics)
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelors? degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Social Media or Communications
Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) concepts preferred
