Spanlink Communications is a leading provider of customer collaboration and contact center solutions. Since 1988 Spanlink has been designing, implementing and supporting mid-size and large-scale contact center and customer interaction solutions. Partnered exclusively with Cisco, Spanlink provides business communications solutions to enhance human interaction, employee productivity and the customer experience.
Spanlink is looking for a full-time marketing communications intern to assist the marketing department with day-to-day support activities. This is a 6-month internship with the intention of offering a full-time position once complete. It is geared toward individuals who have recently graduated or are just completing a marketing / PR / or a communications-related degree.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker that has the ability to develop creative marketing and media strategies.
? Executes plans for the writing and production of marketing communications materials, including corporate literature, presentations, product/services brochures, case studies, news releases, emails, Web site text, etc.
? Assists with the planning and execution of events.
? Monitors and maintains Web site, blogs and social networking sites.
? Assists in the data entry of potential and current customers into the marketing database.
? Organizes customer database and tracks campaigns.
? Researches areas for expanding exposure to targeted audiences.
III. Experience and Skills
? Strong editing and proofreading skills, including ability to edit for AP style.
? Strong writing skills, from news releases to web copy to social media.
? Good time management, communications, decision making and organizational skills.
? Proficient PC skills.
? Must have an aptitude to learn and understand technology. Knowledge of Cisco Contact Center solutions is a plus, but not required.
? Qualified candidates will have completed or be within months of completing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, PR or Communications-related field and must have demonstrated academic excellence. Two writing examples required.
