The core objective of the role is to drive consideration of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, effectively driving revenue by building the LinkedIn story for sales, creating stand-out content and establishing creative programs of activity We are looking for an accomplished marketer who understands the European advertising industry and has experience of being effective within a global matrix organisation. Our ideal candidate will thrive on tough challenges, be skilled in content creation, possess a creative flair, and a track record of delivering spectacular results with limited resources.
Success Criteria The successful candidate will be a highly driven and ambitious individual, with a determined and resourceful style that's highly contagious. Extremely focused on intelligent, scalable ways of working, this person will possess:
- Marketing experience within the digital/ media space
- Experience in working within a global matrix organization, working across the European or EMEA region to deliver programs of activity across multiple European markets, at different development stages in different languages
- Experience in creating compelling content for the advertising community
- Advanced communication skills and the ability to create lasting relationships with our prospects and customers, sales and leadership teams, as well as industry influencers.
- Have the ability to think strategically, think big, yet still be hands-on. Be able to apply this to complex messages, pulling out the key benefits and most salient facts that will resonate
Responsibilities over the next 9- 12 months will cover:
- Own the relationship with global teams, bringing regional perspectives to the table, contributing to global solutions that will be successful across the region, then ensuring their effective localisation
- Developing and improving the sales story (LMS positioning, key benefits and messages) whilst working across to sales teams to ensure it resonates and is effectively used.
- Building the bank of sales tools to help sales own a compelling proposition in market â€" collateral, leave behinds, case studies, testimonials, media kits
- Developing rich content that supports the LMS positioning and thought leadership strategy (includes managing creative agencies on delivery of infographics, master decks, ad creative, videos, collateral, white papers etc)
- Content distribution and optimization (working with the operations team)
- Owning the market engagement program and building visibility at key events to enhance the brand and drive the sales opportunity
o Overseeing LinkedIn presence at major industry festivals, including Cannes and Festival of Media
o Building out and executing the LinkedIn flagship conference
- Support for new and partner markets, providing best practices, templates, collateral and messaging/brand training
- Managing a project manager, setting clear KPI's for projects and managing the overall output of the EMEA marcoms team.
