mPortal Inc is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager who will be responsible for promoting mPortals brand, products and services across multiple industries. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the companys success while advancing your career.
The job responsibilities include implementing the social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the Company to ensure its effectiveness and encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques into the products and services. Additional marketing programs include search engine marketing and optimization, digital advertising and other relevant initiatives.
Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, community-outreach efforts, promotions, editing/writing content, etc.
Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed.
Become an advocate of the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and working with internal resources to answer questions when appropriate.
Manage a Blogger outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the Company.
Regularly feed back insights gained from social media monitoring into the organization, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion.
Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications.
The Marketing Communications Manager will also be responsible for creating and managing all marketing content including the mPortal website. The Manager is expected to measure, report, and analyze campaign/project results, and make recommendations to enhance future programs and projects.
Desired Knowlege & Skills
College degree in marketing, communications or similar major or equivalent work experience.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Digg, YouTube, Flickr, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.
Knowledge of the blogging ecosystem.
Proven track record working with off-shore development teams and delivery.
Ability to effectively present information to team members and management.
Have a good knowledge of the principles of SEO.
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong project management experience and ability to handle problems with minimal supervision.
Business-to-business experience is required; preferably with high tech or software industry.
Strong attention to details.
Experience in Microsoft applications, including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Familiarity with the mobile and/or media industry is a plus.
