Marketing Communications Manager Cardinal Commerce
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Summary: The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the defined strategy, tactics, and programs to create interest, demand, and recognition for CardinalCommerce Corporation and its products. This position is responsible for supporting the sale of Cardinal's products including analytic services, product promotion, process creation/enforcement, assistance with sales presentations and marketing materials, and corporate website development/content. The role requires strong problem solving skills, excellent cross-group collaboration skills, a strong tolerance for ambiguity, and a drive for results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for co-creating annual strategic and tactical marketing plan with the marketing team, and for developing the annual marketing communications plan in accordance with the annual marketing plan.
Work with the marketing team developing the external market message; provide feedback and input into the development of marketing strategies and collaborate on methods to solicit ongoing market feedback
Assist in the creation of, and help with enforcement of, standard policies and procedures for Cardinal's brand images and language.
Lead core marketing communications activities surrounding: product launches, promotional campaigns, tradeshows and events, and marketing collateral.
Manage implementation, scheduling and tracking of marketing communications plan including bulletins, email campaigns, press releases, website updates, brochures, tradeshows/conferences, webinars, etc.
Provide updates/reports to internal teams and results/analytics from marketing campaigns.
Accountable for overall relationship, including performance, ROI and contracts with 3rd party agencies
Responsible for the development of marketing material supporting the Cardinal Sales teams and Partners/resellers
Online Marketing Communications:
Initiate and execute Cardinal's online strategy, including SEO management and social media opportunities.
Design, develop and evolve Cardinal's online presence (website, webinars, social media, etc.)
Manage Cardinal's online presence to ensure a professional, inviting, lead-generating website employing the latest technology to encourage initial and repeat visits.
Implement Web solution by monitoring project progress; tracking action items; conducting design and implementation reviews; examining, researching, and resolving issues; escalating issues to appropriate authority; responding to team members' concerns; coordinating requirements with interested departments.
Maintain CardinalCommerce corporate website with updates and collection of incoming inquiries/leads.
Have extensive knowledge of Cardinal products to understand how they can address a client business issue.
Update job knowledge by tracking technology advances, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
Maintain a list of ongoing activities/projects/goals.
Other duties as assigned.
A proficient multi-tasker with excellent communication and writing skills
Adept at critical and creative thinking, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in project management, planning, process improvement, and information analysis
Well-rounded in marketing and communications associated with software products and technologies
Knowledge of the industry including remote payments, eCommerce and mobile markets, and technology trends is highly preferred
Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships across organizational boundaries
Education & Experience:
University degree required; preferred in Marketing, Communications or related business field
5+ years of progressively increasing experience in marketing communications
Experience with online technology and analytics, including video content, SEO, and social media.
Proficient with MS Office suite programs
