Position Overview:
The Marketing Communications Manager is a key member of the marketing team and is responsible for managing a wide variety of projects, including events and communication media that span print, web, collateral and email.
Responsibilities:
Production/project management of sales collateral, product fact sheets, white papers and customer case studies.
Project management of slide presentations, including graphics design, production and editing.
Production/project management of multi-media sales tools, including product flash video, HTML product demos, customer video interviews, etc.
Project management and execution of all web content (internal web master).
Project management of production requirements for lead generation email promotions, templates, blog sites, etc.
Manage events, including trade shows, channel events and seminars.
Oversight of vendors required to provide marketing communications services.
Oversight and management of purchase requisition process and budget tracking.
Required skills:
Bachelor's degree in marketing.
5-7 years experience in a hands-on creative marketing role in a high technology B2B environment.
Hands-on experience managing marketing communications projects.
A team player with demonstrated ability to work with various levels of management and across company functions, including executive staff, product management and sales.
Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and deliver high-quality results.
Ability to work well under deadlines and flexibly respond to changing priorities.
Familiarity with design applications, including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Illustrator.
Familiarity with web tools.
Desired skills:
Writing and editing skills
Proficient in standard Microsoft programs.
Proficient in Adobe design program and HTML experience.
