Reporting to the Sr. Director Brand Marketing and Brand Management, the Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for consistent, global extension and execution of our brand as well as the development, management, and delivery of both electronic and printed materials from the product marketing, brand marketing, and field marketing organizations. An ideal candidate?s core competencies for this position must include project and program management, vendor acquisition and management, sharp attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Functional areas of responsibility include: Project management for creative design, editorial review, production, and printing services; overseeing global brand consistency including implementing systems, processes, and enablement training/tools to support this; collateral architecture definition; identification and implementation of best practices in marcom including digital execution versus print production
Identification and recommendation of key vendors including RFP process management
Provide management of external agencies through approval processes, and production schedules
Liaison with Sales and Product teams to identify key creative needs and help to deliver best-in-class assets to meet their needs
Cross functional collaboration to develop creative briefs to accomplish objectives
Manage all physical and digital assets, including oversight of future digital asset management systems
Expertise in negotiation of terms and contracts with service providers to maximize efficiencies and assure compliance with budget and company policies
Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B marketing communications
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; Experience writing creative briefs
Knowledge of procedures, workflow and capabilities of software packages for graphic design, writing, editing, proofing, and print and digital production
Established skills interacting with executive/senior management teams
Aptitude to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
Capacity to see big picture as well as maintain attention to detail ? able to transition from high level conceptual work to tactical detail without losing the concept
Ability to juggle multiple projects through highly effective organizational skills
Experience with implementing marketing resource center required; Familiarity with SalesForce, Eloqua, or similar marketing platforms, preferred
Minimum of a bachelor?s degree in marketing communications, business, communications, or a related field
