Marketing Communications Specialist Singulex
The Marketing Communications Specialist will drive awareness of the Singulex brand and lead generation across multiple lines of businesses. This position involves working with marketing/product management to plan and implement effective marketing campaigns with strong and consistent value propositions. The specialist will contribute communications expertise during the annual planning process and through to execution, manage the programs such as new product introductions, related promotional collaterals, direct mailers, internet/social marketing, and coordinate the submission and tracking of advertising and media campaign materials in support of the corporate marketing plan to budget and deadlines, and communicate the deployed programs to stakeholders. This position drives business growth by meeting or exceeding specific measures of results (e.g. cost per lead, sales-ready lead goals, social uptake metrics), anticipates and reacts to performance trends, leverages business acumen to consider multiple solutions and options to challenges. The position is headquarters based, however some travel maybe required (more than 10%).
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent coursework in communications, marketing, business, life sciences and/or healthcare (preferably biology, biochemistry, immunology, public health, lab or a similar discipline). Graduate coursework is desirable.
? 3+ years of relevant professional experience with demonstrated effectiveness in the coordination of marketing communications programs in B2B and B2C environments. Experience in the Physician, Lab & Life Sciences related services is preferred.
? Proven experience with product launches and lead generation activities.
? Digital marketing & social media experience is required.
? A thorough working knowledge of web development tools, search engine optimization strategies and preferred experience with html editing, content management, and/or production design.
? Proven track record of initiation and support of multiple projects independently & across project teams in a highly collaborative environment.
? Demonstrated ability to build and manage project timelines engaging all relevant key stakeholders, assigning roles and responsibilities, and directing the approval process.
? Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) system and marketing automation tool is highly preferred.
? Strong decision-making skills and a willingness to adapt with change in a fast paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Collaborate in the creation of marketing communications plans that communicate the company?s products and services to articulate the brand?s and business unit?s position in support of global marketing programs to an advanced scientific audience (Researchers & Physician populations).
? Manage targeted tactical activities that support marketing & communications objectives and strategies (such as multi-channel campaigns, webinars, media calendar management/insertions & new product introductions) across business unit?s including project management, planning, scheduling, and result tracking of activities.
? Support business team members to produce promotional tools (e.g. marketing materials, assets, reproduce tool kits such as new product introduction/NPI kit) for various communication vehicles to support brand marketing, and sales efforts.
? Manage promotional media calendar including media insertions; pre/post launch submission activities, Google analytics, social media outlets, budget tracking & report out.
? Evaluate campaign effectiveness with regards to lead generation and provide new and creative ways to increase campaign effectiveness and quality lead generation.
? Liaise as required with external contractor/agency to project manage execution of marketing materials including collaterals, campaigns assets, list rentals/e-marketing outreach, and website updates.
? Collaborate with stakeholders & marketing coordinator for presentations and conference exhibitions.
? Other tasks and duties as assigned from time to time.
