The Marketing Communication Specialist III is responsible for planning, developing and implementation of all of the Company?s marketing communications and public relations activities as well as being responsible for the Company?s overall positioning. Additionally, this role will interface externally ? working with PR firms to expand the Company?s brand presence and market position. This position will also manage any printing requirements as well as supports select tradeshows and events as needed.
Develop presentations, collateral, positioning documents and sales tools.
Manage the Company?s communications calendar.
Manage the Company?s overall brand.
Create a style guide and manage Company?s brand image and consistency.
Translate technical solutions into easy to comprehend marketing messages.
Work with external PR firm to build brand presence and recognition.
Administer the Company?s website including overall positioning and messaging.
Writing copy and managing content for corporate website.
Make modifications & layout adjustment as required.
Coordinate internal communications via the corporate intranet.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure website content is current and/or relevant.
Manage vendor and agent relationship as required.
Manage corporate social media sites (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
Create and manage projects, B2B email and web campaigns from creative through implementation to Post-campaign analysis.
Produce and manage distribution of quarterly email newsletter.
Manage layout and printing of sales collateral.
Responsible for event management (road-shows, trade-shows, solutions fairs, company-sponsored events, etc.).
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and other broad range of marketing and business related roles in telecommunication or technology companies. Broad exposure and holistic understanding of different wireless technologies and/or in building wireless experience is desirable.
Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, similar field or equivalent work experience.
Must have a writing background and previous experience with creating press releases, marketing collateral and white papers.
Experience with managing a website and/or intranet portal, utilizing a CMS as well as managing the site performance against standard Web metrics.
Experience with e-marketing campaigns (Webinars, e-mail, banner ads, search (organic and paid), Web 2.0 tools).
Experience with branding, co-branding and managing a brand delivered via indirect distribution.
High-energy and team-oriented candidate desired.
Familiarity with Adobe CS3/4 suite.
Some product marketing skills when dealing with technical content for different audiences (e.g. technical and non-technical, executive level and non-executive level).
Ability to make recommendations and work independently on most projects and programs.
Self-starter with the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.
Excellent written English communication skills. Multilingual a plus.
Proficiency with creative editing tools (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design) as well as HTML, flash and basic web design/programming skills preferred.
Ability to identify and prioritize important tasks independently.
Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced employees.
Highly self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple tasks.
Experience managing vendors and negotiating best terms.
Demonstrated ability to track and report results of campaigns and initiatives and take corrective action to improve performance.
Experience using social media in B2B initiatives.
Experience with marketing automation tools (Marketo).
Experience coordinating tradeshows and events globally.
