Marketing Communications Specialist Confluence
Engage in the planning and implementation of marketing programs to promote Confluence and its products. Assist the Vice President of Marketing Communications in planning and creating strategies, tactics, activities and materials to create brand awareness, generate leads and build client loyalty. Serve as liaison between the company and its customers, prospects, trade associations, outside vendors and media audiences. Assist with planning and execution of internal communications projects.
Involved in the planning and implementation of marketing programs: Plan and create strategies, tactics, activities and materials for the purpose of creating brand awareness, generating leads and building client loyalty.
Responsible for event marketing, including trades shows and client promotional and entertaining events.
Executes plans for the design, writing and production of marketing communications materials, including corporate literature, product/services brochures, case studies, etc. Ensures that marketing materials consistently reflect Confluence's brand image and key messages. Ensures that marketing materials position the company and its products for high visibility with customers, prospects, trade associations, outside vendors and media audiences.
Responsible for Confluence SEO, SEM and Social Media campaigns, with support from marketing assistant. Responsible for Confluence web content and ensures that new content is created, translated and updated in a proactive, creative ad timely manner. Provide copywriting and editing services to support external and internal marketing communications needs, including brochures, direct mail, whitepapers, web content and SEM campaigns.
Serve as a liaison between the marketing department and trade associations, outside vendors and media audiences, including domestic and international. Assist with the development and execution of public relations and advertising strategies to ensure that the company is widely and positively represented in the general business press and industry and vertical market publications, as well as local and regional media.
Plan and execute internal employee communication campaigns, meetings and eventsAssist with the planning and execution of the Confluence client conference, when applicable. Perform moderately complex market analyses as neededAssist with proofreading to ensure the highest quality control of all marketing output.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, business or communications.
Requires minimum of five years B2B marketing and communications experience. Financial services and international marketing experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work in a global, multicultural environment wherein diplomacy and a passion for diversity are paramount.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must possess exceptional organization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications capabilities required.
Thorough understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
Ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external contacts.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to analyze problems and identify resolutions at a strategic and functional level.
