Call current authors to proactively sell promotional and editorial services to newly contracted authors. Pro-actively call authors previously live to sell Same services.
Primary Duties: % of Time Spent
Make 50+ outbound phone calls 80%
a day to current authors.
Send promotional information 10%
and book quotes to authors.
Maintain accurate and complete 10%
notes in customer database.
Assessing customer needs during a call to address customer issues which may arise and forward to appropriate person or department.
High School Graduate/GED equivalent or higher.
Minimum 1 year Business to Business or Business to Consumer Outbound or Inside Sales experience or 1 year customer service experience.
Interact with existing clients to increase sales of volume books. Ability to work positively as a member of a team or independently as required, Ability to interact effectively via phone primarily or email as a secondary means of communication.
Knowledge of AH products and services and book selling and promoting.
Judgment, Initiative, Creative thinking
Sufficient typing ability to maintain required email contact with authors, Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Light to moderate lifting as one would normally encounter in an office environment, ability to sit in one place for long periods of time.

Travel as required, less than 5% of time, Ability to work a full time flexible work schedule as required to obtain goals.
