We are seeking a Content Marketing Specialist who can write and edit content that reinforces Xactly as an industry thought leader on Incentive Compensation and build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
The Content Marketing Specialist will contribute to our content marketing and marketing for two new products, and will build out sales enablement collateral.
? Understand and create content that aligns with our buyer personas' interests and needs.
? Help grow the company's inbound content marketing efforts.
? Develop and optimize lead nurturing campaigns.
? Develop new types of content and offers to address problems or gaps in our content
? Contribute to our blog.
? Conduct analytical projects to improve email nurturing strategies/tactics.
? Write and edit instructional content including eBooks, infographics, templates,
? Design and tweak layouts for eBooks, infographics, templates, whitepapers, etc.
? Contribute to long-form content projects such as eBooks.
? Plan, post and facilitate webinars.
? Manage all marketing for products and service offerings.
? Work closely with the Director of Product Marketing to launch new products.
? Work closely with Director of Brand and Buzz to create messaging for company events.
? Create and edit content that helps articulate the value of our products/services.
? Work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing to write content to support the
product pages of our website(s).
? Write and edit detailed information, training, and product marketing collateral to Business
Development and other teams regarding our products/services.
? Ensure that all new content is optimized to attract and engage those visitors that closely
match the agreed profile of the target audience/personas.
? Optimize content for search engines and lead generation.
? Create copy for landing pages for paid and non-paid programs.
? BS in Marketing Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Business OR equivalent
? 1+ years of experience with inbound marketing and content creation.
? Experience with Marketo marketing automation tool strongly preferred.
? Previous experience within SaaS, Cloud, and software industry preferred.
? An interest in understanding the SaaS industry and our business' mission required.
? Demonstrated experience in using inbound marketing strategies to optimize customer
leads and retention.
? Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and
voice of our business' various types of content.
? Demonstrated communication skills, including listening, writing, and speaking. Mastery of
style guides (e.g. AP, Yahoo!, Chicago Manual of Style) and business communications
? Excellent independent and team collaboration skills.
? Strong organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving
? Design skills using tools like PowerPoint, Photoshop, Prezi and InDesign a plus.
