Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for planning and execution of marketing events such as trade shows and seminars to meet overall event goals & further company?s sales objectives. This role will also assist with lead fulfillment and the implementation and tracking of marketing and advertising campaigns.
Description
The Marketing Coordinator will be ultimately responsible for all aspects of the pre-event planning process, including coordination with all relevant internal resources; coordination of various aspects of logistics including but not limited to interfacing with exhibit house for booth properties, demo equipment, graphics and marketing collateral; handling event registrations and housing coordination; working with various vendors and show services preparing for events; and facility set up/tear down when needed. This position will support relevant internal stakeholders with any pre-show preparation including presentation of exhibit guides to communicate all event details. The position will coordinate production of post-show reports including lead reporting, data entries and lead fulfillment as needed. The Marketing Coordinator will also assist with the coordination and implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns and various other communications activities in line with company objectives. Additional functions include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the point of contact for event-related inquiries, both internally and externally.
Work effectively and efficiently in an independent fashion and within cross-functional teams that include executive team members.
Maintain departmental database for all shows between businesses.
Coordinate show budget expenses, invoices and reconciliation.
Complete all activities and projects on-time and within budget.
Must have a good understanding of managing convention center events as well as hotel events.
Other duties as directed by the Senior Marketing Communications Manager and Marketing Director.
Qualifications
2-3+ years of relevant work experience.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in coordinating events (i.e. trade shows), providing lead fulfillment support and coordination of marketing campaigns.
Proven ability to work against and meet deadlines.
Bachelor?s degree in marketing or closely related field preferred.
Strong project management capabilities and the ability to manage and execute on multiple projects simultaneously.
Must possess strong decision-making and critical thinking skills, be extremely detailed oriented, well-organized and able to manage several activities at once.
Excellent cross-functional team participation skills.
