Project Leadership Associates (PLA) is a professional services company based in downtown Chicago. We are adding a marketing coordinator to our team to help support day to day marketing, sales and administrative activities in our fast-paced environment. This position will work with key leadership across the company to develop marketing strategies on a regional and national basis. The Marketing Coordinator will also work with the sales team on campaigns and strategies to position the company for success.
Five + years of hands-on marketing experience preferred.
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or Liberal Arts preferred.
This role will work independently. The ability to self regulate and meet deadlines is key.
Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced organization.
Should be self-motivated with the capability to work independently.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees as well as external vendors and clients.
Strong business writing and editing skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and decision making skills.
Event management experience including both planning and execution a plus.
Social media experience around promoting products/services and our brand name required (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogging).
Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) required.
Must have intermediate/advanced skills using the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Must have intermediate skills using CRM and Excel, Microsoft CRM preferred.
Experience navigating through the Microsoft Partner Network program a plus.
Experience supporting sales and marketing teams for a professional services organization.
This is a full time position that will require occasional additional time for events and meetings.
