Marketing Coordinator SeaMobile
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED GENERAL PURPOSE: The Marketing Coordinator position will be responsible to support, as well as drive, various strategies elevating the MTN brand, educating and communicating with key market segments and internal employees. The position is responsible for supporting the efforts for each business unit?s strategy from event planning to social media programs and sales material development to name just a few.
Support ongoing strategic marketing and corporate communications programs geared to meet MTN business objectives.
Support team efforts to enhance MTN?s profile externally and internally, including with influencers, partners, customers and employees.
Support efforts to enhance company branding, messaging and positioning through traditional, online, social, media and marketing channels.
Support and oversee social media programs across platforms ? B2B and B2C.
Collaborate and drive marketing efforts with other groups such as Management, Sales and Business Development, HR, Network Operations/IT and Product Innovation.
Support ongoing efforts to improve company communications processes.
Drive MTN?s website presence and content.
Assist with media relations activities.
Drive social media initiatives.
Support internal communications efforts, including Intranet, employee communiques, lunch-n-learns and employee events.
Drive and execute, with each market segment, events, includingbranding and signage, sponsorships, advertising, marketing campaigns, collateral, PR, budgeting and invoicing, and event follow-up.
Support promotional materials program.
Other related duties/responsibilities as assigned.
NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:This position will report to the Sr. Director of Corporate Communications, and will interact with all levels of internal and external contacts such as vendors, distributors, suppliers, creative service organizations.
TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Marketing or related discipline
3+ years? experience in a professional office environment
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Ability to understand and quickly learn new technology
Willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
Understands marketing and communications program development and execution, including post-campaign ROI analysis
Persuasive collaboration and networking skills; excellent development/management of internal/external relationships
Excellent abstract thinking and creative abilities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, Excel
Multi-lingual: Spanish, French or Italian a plus
Knowledge of InDesign and/or Photo Shop a plus
PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS: Office environment. Extensive computer work. Some domestic/int?l travel may be required.
