ABOUT THE POSITION
The Marketing Demand Generation Manager reports directly to the VP of Marketing. This role is responsible for demand and lead generation campaigns with a focus on crafting and executing programs, then tracking and reporting on the results of the programs. The main objectives of this role are to generate an incremental pipeline for existing and new products and to leverage tactical messaging to influence the marketplace, capture customers and prospects, and generate, nurture and convert the pipeline. To accomplish this, the Demand Generation Manager will work closely with the executive team, the sales team, and the product teams to ensure marketing programs allign with sales goals, buyer segment needs, product benefits, and market opportunities.
Create repeatable and effective programs to generate and nurture leads through the marketing and sales pipeline
Must be able to take projects from concept to launch (including email campaigns, engagement programs, webinars, landing pages and other outbound initiatives). Campaigns should incorporate leads projection, nurturing tactics, conversion acceleration and ROI best practices.
Work effectively with product marketing, sales, design, and marketing communications to develop and execute campaign elements.
Set clear expectations and establish accountability for deadlines with all related cross functional teams involved with program development and execution
Demand generation programs and messaging should support the entire buy-cycle; messaging needs to resonate with our target audience by effectively aligning with their needs, buying stage, and product interest.
Improve program performance through visibility of an end-to-end lead management process from the initial prospect capture through to nurturing and hand-off to sales.
Work closely with Marketing Operations to maintain best practices around the organization of lists, campaigns and notifications on a global basis.
Prepare regular reports on campaign pipeline impact
Track and analyze campaign effectiveness to ascertain when campaigns are successful or need to be changed
BA/ BS or equivalent education, preferred focus on Marketing/Communication
Understanding of marketing automations systems
Knowledge of Marketo Automation and Salesforce CRM platforms is preferred
2-4 years experience in the field or related area
Demonstrated results in improving sales pipeline/funnel close ratios
SaaS experience preferred
Strong operations experience ? designing programs and executing efficiently
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
