Our Director of Marketing is responsible for generating awareness of and interest in the company?s business resilience solutions. The Director manages a team of marketing professionals and is responsible for the company?s public relations, events, sales tools and client communications initiatives. This ?self-starter? individual is a hands-on, execution focused, marketing leader who excels at communicating across multiple departments and management levels within and outside the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Own company brand and messaging.
Approve and disseminate company?s key messaging elements.
Drive and approve company?s visual identity.
Oversee collateral and sales tool strategy, development, delivery and inventory.
Manage public relations program.
Drive public relations strategy and agenda.
Oversee public relations firm strategy, goals and deliverables (press releases, media coverage, bylines).
Coordinate iJET participation in media opportunities.
Pursue appropriate awards opportunities.
Manage corporate/national events and speaking engagements? from strategy through execution and measurement.
Submit and respond to speaker opportunities for targeted events.
Guide content development and delivery of accepted speaking engagements.
Manage all logistics related to national speaking event participation (messaging, booth space, services, lodging, etc.).
Support sales team in regional & local speaking and event execution.
Promote iJET participation in all events.
Oversee staff preparation and debrief for all events.
Oversee target lead management related to all events.
Oversee direct marketing strategy and execution.
Secure external list purchases, as requiredManage content, timing and delivery of DM messages.
Coordinate product promotional DM campaigns with Product Management.
Monitor and measure results.
Create and manage client communications, including newsletter; product announcements; service and event promotions.
Manage marketing communications programs budget.
Maintain content for About & Events sections of iJET.com.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or the equivalent and a minimum of 6-8 years of marketing in a high technology company is required.
Master?s Degree in Business or Marketing a plus.
The Following Experience is Desirable:
Exposure to the travel industry.
Experience in risk management, security, or business continuity industries.
Familiarity with the complex sales process and experience supporting complex sales.
Solid understanding of the strategic and tactical aspects of Marketing.
Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple demands.
Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated familiarity with lead management processes and metrics.
Ability to positively facilitate or impact cross-functional work groups.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Proficiency with CRM, web presentation, group mail and online survey tools. Experience with WebEx, Salesforce.com, Constant Contact, Marketbright and Survey Moneky a plus.
