Marketing Director, North America Outbrain
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Outbrain is seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead all marketing efforts for North America. Reporting to the GM North America, this individual will play a key role building upon our position as the clear market leader in content marketing. In addition to creating and implementing a marketing plan supporting the business teams, you will also provide input into the development of the corporate brand and communications to ensure these are implemented consistently across all territories.

Leading a small New York-based team, you will work closely with all teams within the organization to develop marketing strategies to increase sales leads and build our brand.
Play a key role in Outbrain?s growth through effective brand building and lead generation activities.
Manage the implementation of the corporate brand positioning, strategic marketing, communications strategies, event activations and other key initiatives that define Outbrain?s long term growth and value proposition(s) across key target market segments.
Working with the VP of Global Marketing, input into the development of the corporate brand and communications plan and ensure these are relevant for all local markets.
Manage press strategies and deliver a comprehensive and effective PR plan
Work closely with the GM, North America, business development and sales teams to deliver measureable and ROI positive marketing opportunities.
Work closely with Outbrain?s editor-in-chief to define and execute a comprehensive content strategy in order to educate customers and prospects and to grow Outbrain?s thought leadership in content discovery and amplification.
Develop strategy and execution of customer relationship management (CRM) programs
Define metrics and oversee reporting for all marketing initiatives
Proven track record of developing strategies and managing a multi-faceted marketing budget
Solid understanding of digital technologies, trends and the potential of content marketing
Entrepreneurial ? comfortable with uncertainty, and able to move and adapt quickly and mobilize internal and external resources
Creative marketer who can think out of the box and comfortable with taking risks
Strong editorial writing skills
Effective communicator and presenter
Experience with event management and activation
People management experience
Background in publishing, large blog networks or the media sector
