As a Marketing Ecommerce Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing and understanding both our prospect and customer online behavior. You will partner with our Web Team in the creation, execution, and analysis of online and offline marketing campaigns, as well as study website usability. Your primary role will be to provide actionable information that will improve both our customer and prospect experience, while maximizing our online ROI.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL CONSIST OF:
Serving as the owner of our web analytics software, Omniture
Keeping up to date on web analytical practices and making recommendations to keep Northern Safety in the forefront of changes, while minimizing risks associated with these changes
Partnering with Marketing to develop campaign strategies and researching business partners for new initiatives
Assuring that each marketing campaign has a stated objective and documenting how each one will be analyzed
Making recommendations on testing strategies and new marketing initiatives
Managing the email campaign process, assuring that all deadline dates are met
Analyzing the performance of the website, making recommendations for continued improvement in campaigns and customer experience
Assisting in the management of our online marketing budget
The candidate we are looking for has a Bachelor?s Degree in an analytical area such as Mathematics, Finance, or Statistics and at least 2-3 years of analytical experience, preferably website specific; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in an analytical area. Preferably the candidate will have experience with PPC keyword management and experience with web analysis tools such as Omniture. Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office with high proficiency utilizing Excel. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a propensity for organization and thoroughness. Working independently as well as part of a team is a necessity, and having the capability to compile and interpret copious amounts of information is a must.
