We are currently looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team. Good communication and people skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of personalities are essential. A high degree of initiative, analytical thinking, independent judgment and follow-through are necessary to assure success. This position is a paid internship and requires a 14-20 hour/week commitment.
Requirements:
- Maintain and proactively order marketing inventory including collateral, giveaway items, tradeshow materials, and internal equipment.
- Assist with social media marketing on facebook, youtube, our corporate blog and other social networking sites
- Perform all outbound shipments for partner events, sales meetings, tradeshows and field support team.
- Manage webinar production and editing, from beginning to end; assist in content creation
- Create all credit memos, purchase orders, coop requests and wire transfers for Partner community.
- Perform basic event coordination tasks including ordering services, shipping pre-event support materials, reservations, and ensuring return of received leads.
- Handle complete ordering, receipt and delivery of 75+ partner plaques.
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks which may include data entry, account validation, copy/pasting exercises, faxing, etc.
- Replenish field sales Survival Kits with new materials.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing BS/MS/MBA with a major in Marketing, Sales, or Business and at least one year of completion of studies at an accredited college/university
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, and Outlook required; knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus
- Prior experience with wordpress and html preferred
- Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion and provide status updates
- Strong organizational skills; Creative background a plus, graphics experience even better
- Demonstrated interpersonal effectiveness and personal integrity
- Positive attitude regardless of task being asked to complete
- Outstanding leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
