Volusion is looking for a talented undergrad or grad student who wants to gain significant exposure to multi-channel marketing in an exciting technology environment. This is a paid internship up to 30 hours per week. This is real world experience that a highly motivated individual who has a keen interest to pursue the area of marketing can leverage to learn a ton from a smart team, and make a difference in shaping the metrics of our business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in preparation and execution of marketing programs across multiple media channels, including:
o SEO
o PPC
o Display Advertising
o E-mail marketing
o Relational databases and CRM applications
o Web Analytics
o A/B Testing
o Usability Research
Learn from the marketing leadership team, ask a lot of questions, provide valuable input
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Lives and breathes the internet, with a strong dose of curiosity
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Is working toward a degree at an accredited university
Takes pride in problem-solving, is self motivated, and seeking a variety of challenges
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Web Analytics, Microsoft Office (esp. Excel), and Adobe CS a big plus
