We seek a motivated student who is at the top of their game and interested in pursuing an exciting career in advertising and/or marketing. At Mediaspace Solutions we connect with thousands of newspapers, magazines and digital publishers to serve the media needs for dozens of big-name brands such as American Express, Mohegan Sun, Pella Windows, Jimmy John?s and many more.The responsibilities of the Marketing Intern are to increase the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, support our marketing and sales efforts and work with the marketing director, marketing specialist and vice president of sales on projects that span from inbound marketing to newsletter design and event planning. Our approach is a combination of direct and inbound marketing. The intern will gain experience and an understanding of different marketing tactics and strategies as well as implement these programs. The intern will also gain an inside view of what it?s like to work at a fast-paced, results-driven agency. The successful candidate will be able to handle a high volume of work and be versatile enough to wear several hats. Responsibilities
Expand inbound marketing tactics and practices using the HubSpot platform
Support the marketing team with writing and proofreading a variety of materials including news releases, case studies, blog posts and other writing projects
Help the marketing team with management and updates of the website using our content management system
Assist in the building of client and publishing partner testimonial program
Assist with other projects and areas as needed
Requirements
Knowledge and experience with social media platforms and applications
Ability to manage multiple priorities with complete follow-up
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be actively pursuing a college degree and entering your Junior or Senior year of college
