Marketing Intern Stray Boots Interactive Tours

The intern will work with cofounders to develop the business and its primary product, Stray Boots, as we expand across the country. The opportunity provides an inside look at how a start-up launches and develops a product, designs and executes marketing strategies, and responds to a rapidly changing technological and economic landscape. The intern will have direct exposure to almost every aspect of the business, including sales, marketing and operations. Primary focus will be on developing, implementing, and monitoring marketing strategies and tactics. He/she will gain hands-on experience working on a number of projects in this fast-paced but casual work environment.
Responsibilities:
executing marketing strategies, such as a customer referral program, promotional events, flyer distribution and viral campaigns
media and promotional outreach to bloggers and editorial listings
conducting research for marketing leads and purchasing decisions
directly handling customer service and sales calls and emails (occasional weekend customer service)
