Marketing at Splunk is responsible for driving and nurturing new customer acquisition thru digital channels. The team uses online tactics including SEM, banner advertising, online events, syndicated content and email marketing to engage with a variety of different audiences from CXOs, Line of Business Managers to IT Managers, IT Operations, Enterprise Developers and Cloud Developers across a variety of different solutions.
As an intern on the Marketing team, you'll use your organization and technology skills to manage the execution of online events and assist with other programs as required. This includes a broad range of challenges over the entire lifecycle of online marketing: working cross-functionally to gather inputs, managing the production schedule, building the html email, creating email lists, setting up campaigns, webinars and emails in respective systems and reporting on results. We are always looking for creative new ways to get our message out so appreciate fresh perspective on digital communications. This is an awesome opportunity to work with a high-performing marketing organization at a fast-paced and innovative software company.
Requirements: I've already done that or have that!
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing
- Experience learning and using technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HTML and Photoshop
- Experience with marketing automation and Salesforce automation tools a plus
