Voxiva is seeking a high energy and creative Marketing Intern to work with our fast growing U.S. business team for 8 weeks. The Marketing intern will work with the sales, marketing and business analytics team on a number of initiatives based on our health and wellness-related product offerings. The Marketing intern will report directly to the Product Manager.
Conduct and produce market analysis of "wellness programs" being offered to and by Health Plans and employers
Provide a collation of evidence basis for a text based wellness program
Design and content development of an "interactive text based wellness program" that focuses on:
Men's health education protocol
Women's health education protocol
Build up to and reminders about key medical screenings (based on age/ sex and other factors)
Goal setting and tracking for weight and exercise
Create market positioning presentation of this "text based wellness program":
Who to sell to
How to position it versus the competition
Branding that builds on the "text4baby" and "text2quit" brands
Focus on "gathering market data and using this to design a general health and wellness prototype"
Develop Very high level business model:
Passion for using technology to improve health and wellness;
Bachelors Degree in a Health or Business-related field; Graduate MBA/ MPH students with a strong knowledge of health
Impeccable oral and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge of the MS Office Suite information management, word processing and presentation tools, including Word and Power Point
ABOUT THE POSITION
This 8 week internship will be based in the Washington, D.C. office. There will be little to no travel required. This is stipend position and will be market competitive. No benefits will be offered for this position. Voxiva is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
