The Events Marketing Intern will assist in the organization and implementation of uSamp?s tradeshows, webinars, national events, etc., which are designed to drive revenue and further business development efforts. This position has an emphasis in event management responsibilities and reports to uSamp?s Event Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
Update and maintain event tracking documents using Microsoft Excel
Work closely with event vendors and help track annual event budget
Track marketing exposure for various programs and promotional campaigns
Take inventory of marketing collateral and order merchandise as appropriate
Participate in Marketing team meetings and activities
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a Bachelor?s/Masters program at an accredited college or university
Must be 18 years or older and have Junior standing or above
Must be able to commit to a work schedule of 3-5 days per week, Monday-Friday, for a minimum 20 hours per week?
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Detail-oriented and highly organized
High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Able to coordinate multiple work streams for on-time project delivery
Able to write creative and relevant copy for promotional use
Demonstrates the ability to learn and absorb at a fast pace
Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks
Conducts him/herself in a professional manner at all times
Able to lift 25lbs
