Marketing Internship DriveFactor
Basic Function:
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Marketing intern for a short term assignment (minimum of three months) with the potential for long term placement. As an intern, you?ll work on challenging problems and come up with solutions that will have an impact on the company?s overall business strategy. Our internship will allow you work on challenging projects with high impact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting with the implementation of brand strategy, including internal and external brand initiatives.
Participating in the design and implementation of social media strategies, including monitoring the social media space and identifying opportunities to increase our reach with our target population.
Providing ideas and strategies for building relationships with our target population.
Reviewing marketing content and strategy and providing feedback from an end-user point of view.
Additional projects and tasks that arise in an entrepreneurial environment.
Provide an end user point of view, opinions and feedback on Marketing and Product Development initiatives in a constructive manner.
Assists in tasks related to the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
Assists with consolidation and distribution of technical material and updates for product binders.
Assists in developing and distributing sales collateral to support product launches and market surveillance.
Provides support, including coordinating marketing material, communications, and product training.
Compiles and maintains marketing and product information in electronic spreadsheet and imaging software.
Assists in analysis of sales and marketing trends for product portfolio
Assists in preparation for and provides support for trade shows, events and product demonstration meetings.
Tracks and summarizes user feedback and product enhancements. Forwards leads to Chief Marketing Officer.
Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge of computer applications (i.e.: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Project, Windows, Internet applications, Illustrator, prezi, photoshop, web design, wordpressetc.) required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
Superior interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow to meet established timeframes.
Ability to work within a cross-functional team and matrix management structure.
Strong attention to details.
Ability to represent the company at a variety of business functions or situations in a professional and competent manner.

Education and/or Experience
Recent graduates or students currently pursuing Masters degrees.
