Develops & maintains marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Evaluates customer research, market conditions, competitor data & marketing opportunities. Oversees all sales/marketing plans, advertising and promotional activities.Requirements:
- 4-6 years of sales and marketing experience
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals. Travel includes visiting existing customers, research for new customers and attends conferences and trade shows
- Proven ability to perform all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
- Proven ability to design, develop and implement both strategic programs and supporting tactics
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and follow-up, set priorities, maintain deadlines within a high expectation environment
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) a plus
- Strong understanding of current and future market dynamics
- Foster innovation and creativity
- Able to operate in a fast pace and changing market environment
- Reports to CEO in a start-up company organizational structure and demonstrates ability to interact and take direction from all company employees
Responsibilities:
- Prepare an annual sales and marketing strategy and budget to meet organizational objectives and report weekly on achievements
- Analyze potential customers and follow up on leads through all marketing efforts
- Handle all customer inquiries and requests and ensure they are responded to in a timely and professional manner
- Thorough understanding and implementation of companies branding principles and tactics through multi-media, web and trade shows
- Product market research for market trend and customer demand; includes on-going visits to current and prospect customers as well as non-customers
- Event planning for all conferences and trade shows
- Oversee or handle shipping and receiving of all products as applicable
- Initiate leads and execute new business efforts
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers by visiting facilities or telephone and email contact
- Establish and maintain relationships with critical manufactures and distributors
- Work with Agency to develop marketing, press releases, promotional and collateral materials
- Maintain log of customer correspondence (written and verbal)
- Any projects as requested by the C-level management team
