MARKETING MANAGER Oasys Water
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Oasys Water is rapidly expanding commercial operations, which requires an increased focus on product marketing and management. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing product market strategy for a new product, executing the strategy and collaborating with other managers and members of the team throughout the organization. We are seeking an energetic individual with outstanding communication and presentation skills, creativity and attention to detail who possesses the ability to understand and translate technical capabilities into customer value. The individual will be an expert in understanding customer drivers and buying criteria and how to transfer that knowledge to engineering and sales personnel.
Conduct research to understand market product and competitive dynamics and synthesize findings for the product and management teams.
Conduct analysis of product performance, market trends, competitor products, etc.
Ensure product definition, messaging and product positioning are powerful and reflect the values of the company.
Develop internally and externally facing materials to address product requirements and to address target market segments.
Partner with product engineering and sales/business development teams to create compelling, up-to-date product sales tools.
Education, Experience & Attitude:
Minimum of 7 years of sales and marketing experience, including 3-5 years focused on product marketing for a B2B technology provider, ideally in the water industry.
BS in civil, mechanical or chemical engineering required.
Excellent analytical skills to collect and synthesize data to drive product requirements.
Experience in new product development including working through Stage Gate or similar processes.
Excellent verbal skills and ability to conduct VOC analysis.
Excellent writing skills and ability to translate technical concepts into clearly understandable content.
A track-record that demonstrates success in working in the water industry or other related B2B technology field.
Capability to quickly grasp new technological concepts and convey their value to clients.
Talents to serve as a liaison between research team and business partners to achieve objectives, enhance communications, and strengthen product development.
Willing to travel up to 50%
