Infraredx is seeking an exceptional medical device product marketing professional to lead our creative and communications initiatives. The Marketing Manager is responsible for advancing Infraredx?s position within the intravascular imaging market by working with all Company stakeholders to drive company and product awareness, visibility, brand, and clinical messages.
Responsibilities:
Participates in the development of, and leads execution of marketing plans, strategies, tactics, product launches
Lead day-to-day development of the deliverables that support Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, and Executive initiatives. These deliverables include sales collateral, iPad app content, advertising, photography, eBlasts, videos, online creative, trade show graphics, etc
Become an expert in the cardiovascular imaging market and competitive landscape of imaging technology providers.
Becomes a product expert in intravascular imaging and NIRS/IVUS technology
Ensure that the branding and messaging in marketing materials is optimized across multiple channels, etc. and consistent with strategic objectives
Provide periodic analysis of the effectiveness of materials, processes, team activities, etc.
Provides key customer and sales input and feedback to internal IFR partners
Leads execution of tools and programs targeted to the needs of the internal customers (clinical specialists, sales force), and external customers
Participates in driving the reimbursement strategy and tactics
Works with sales leadership product planning to effectively forecast demand
Provides frequent communication to domestic and ROW sales organizations on marketplace, product, competition, and technology upgrades
Develops relationships with key IFR customers
Plays principle role in planning and managing industry meetings, trade shows, supports sales meetings on an as needed, as requested basis
Works with key internal partners to help resolve any product line issues
Coordinate efforts of vendors (ad agency, PR, website vendors ) and monitor effectiveness including data analysis and recommendations to senior management
Participates in the development of the required information and tools, and leads the execution of the marketing, clinical, and technical aspects of the sales training program and process
Participates in the development of the pricing strategy, customer and sales promotions

Experience Required
5+ years of successful prior experience in the medical device industry
Cardiology, cardiovascular background strongly preferred
Capital equipment and disposable products experience preferred
Prior field sales experience desirable
International markets experience helpful
Minimum of five years of relevant experience in marketing, brand management, communications, or agency project management
Exposure to Public Affairs and/or Public Relations
High-quality execution and on-time achievement of cost, schedule, and performance goals of large development program(s) and/or projects(s)
Bachelor?s Degree
Master?s Degree preferred or in progress
