The Marketing Manager for Email and CRM is responsible for end-to-end implementation and reporting of email marketing campaigns. This includes requesting creative, routing for approvals, requesting data files, executing tests, email QA, delivery, and tracking. Works very closely with Account Management, Creative, Data and Product Teams on various types of campaigns for our email marketing channel.
In conjunction with internal and external business partners, manage planning, creative development, production, segmentation/scoring, testing and analysis for BAU email campaigns.
Responsible for managing email calendar and scheduling.
Conducting/managing Quality Assurance process with email campaigns and website content.
Support daily analysis of channel performance and deliver reporting to key stake holders.
Provide insights into channel trends and make recommendations based on data results.
Interface with creative team and building email creative based on best practices.
Evaluate email processes that would make the channel more efficient.
Maintain detailed records of campaign collateral and performance for analysis.
Manage coordination, creative development, segmentation, execution and reporting of B2B marketing initiatives using Salesforce and Exact Target.
Manage coordination, creative development, segmentation, execution and reporting of UK email marketing efforts.
Develop and maintain competitive reporting to share with cross functional teams.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
BA/BS Degree; major in Marketing, MIS, Business or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in Internet marketing or CRM for an e-commerce marketer or internet retailer. Experience working with a major ESP required (eg. Exact Target, Silverpop, Cheetah Mail etc.).
Metrics driven and results oriented with demonstrated analytical skills.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
3-5 years of experience in email production, development, and scheduling.
3-5 years of experience in working with standards based Web and email development.
Experience in ISP communication, feedback loops, bounce and complaint handling, etc.
