Marketing Manager, Growth Knewton
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Growth Manager contributes to Knewton?s content strategy, lead acquisition, and content production efforts. This is an entrepreneurial, creative, analytical marketing athlete with room to grow.
The Growth Manager will cover two main areas:
Enterprise leads (Knewton API): Content strategy to drive new leads and nurture prospects. This is a role that supports the work of our Partnerships team, both pre-sale and post-sale.
Consumer platform: Lead the preparation for our beta program and launch beta phases, including content development, lead acquisition and management, email nurtuing, and more. This role has the potential to grow into a team lead working exclusively on growth of our consumer platform. That role is similar to what is now referred to as "growth hacking".
The landscape will include knewton.com and the digital properties built on it, SEO content and blog posts, general email marketing, and day-to-day use of the technology beneath it all (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot, Campaign Monitor, analytics packages, in-house tools, and more).
4+ years experience
First-class written and verbal communication skills
Strong grasp of voice and nuance
Excel experience and general analytics background of some kind
Strong marketing instincts: AIDA, measuring, hacking, iterating
Excellent track record of content strategy from conception through execution
Fluency with online marketing methods and channels, both formal and informal
An eye for design
Experience working with typical marketing tools, including a CMS, email marketing, lead management and automation, A/B testing, analytics, and reporting
A solid foundation of SEO principles and experience implementing campaigns
Exceptional candidates will have one or more of the following:
Media production experience (basic videos, screencasts, etc.)
Direct Response background
Enough technical chops to manage technical projects or hack on things yourself
