Marketing Manager, Latin America
The Marketing Manager, LATAM is a proven marketing professional, ideally with technology and B2B experience. This individual will help to develop and execute upon the LATAM marketing plan for TOA Technologies.
This person is a versatile and strategic marketing professional, able to help advance public relations and analyst relations efforts, content creation, demand generation, trade show and speaking opportunities and much more. S/he will work with both internal and external stakeholders, including the regional sales team. Therefore, exceptional people and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Support the execution of proactive and reactive media and analyst relations programs; this includes managing lists, writing press releases and byline articles, making pitches, developing relationships with influencers and monitoring for results
Provide strategic and tactical marketing support before, during and after events
Drive the awards and speaking submission program, identifying relevant opportunities, building a database and pursuing these opportunities
Produce content that helps to start, advance and ultimately shorten the sales cycle including case studies, fact sheets, presentations, videos, Web copy and blog posts
Proactively monitor for market trends and themes as well as prospect objections for the purposes of strategic media relations and content creation
Monitor for news coverage of company and its competitors, and share coverage reports with appropriate internal audiences
Create briefing documents for spokesperson conversations with media and analysts and moderate meetings and calls as necessary
Determine when content produced by the U.S. team is relevant for Latam efforts, refocus it as necessary, have it translated and then share it appropriately
Assist with maintaining and evolving corporate messaging so that it is relevant for targeted Latin American audiences
Demonstrable, well-rounded marketing experience with a global organization supporting a specific region
Technology and/or B2B experience
Influencer relations experience, which includes media, analyst and social media relations
Experience creating a variety of collateral types, including case studies, fact sheets, presentations, videos, Web copy and blog posts, press releases and byline articles
Knowledge and understanding of demand generation and marketing automation tools - e.g. HubSpot, salesforce.com
Able to determine, prioritize and execute upon marketing needs based on business goals while working closely and collaboratively with the Latin American sales team
Terrific people skills, easily able to connect and work with anyone at any level
A strategic and proactive thinker with proven tactical execution
Driven, never satisfied with the status quo and always working to get better
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is particularly desirable
Undergraduate degree required. Degrees in marketing, communications, public relations or another relevant discipline will receive favorable consideration
20 to 30% which can include, but isn?t limited to, Latin American cities and TOA's US headquarters, tradeshows, conferences and customer sites
