Marketing Manager GameFly
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED GameFly is looking for a Marketing Manager to join the offline marketing team, helping to get marketing initiatives accomplished and drive customer acquisition. The Marketing Manager is an integral part of the offline marketing team driving DRTV and radio media analysis, creative updates for various channels, management of our friend referral program, internal research and execution and tracking of promotions. The Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with internal product development and product management teams and he/she will participate in all creative development for television advertising, and television media buying decisions. The marketing manager will also support business development and mobile publishing projects.
GameFly, the leading subscription video game rental service, allows members to rent one or more video games concurrently, with no due dates, late fees or shipping charges. Users can easily select from over 8,000 console/handheld titles or 1,400 PC games, and manage their list of games online from the GameFly website at www.gamefly.com, the GameFly App for iOS and Android devices, or the newly launched digital PC Client. Members receive games via First-Class Mail and return them to GameFly at their convenience using prepaid mailers. In addition to selling video games through the 'Keep' feature, GameFly also sells new and used video games.
Work with director to plan, execute and optimize direct marketing campaigns including DRTV, radio, etc. to profitably acquire new subscribers.
Act as team analyst evaluating DRTV performance regularly, including formal monthly reports
Develop and implement new offers and promotions, creative and segmentation strategies to increase response and conversion rates
Manage GameFly?s Friend Referral Program ? including tracking member referral links
Execute and track various business development promotions as needed
Perform competitive research as needed
Assist in internal research survey development and implementation
Evaluate new marketing opportunities
Support mobile marketing initiatives
5+ years marketing experience with a focus on internet based, direct-response advertising
Bachelor?s Degree Required
Experience in buying DRTV and radio media preferred
Experience in planning, executing and analyzing performance of direct marketing campaigns preferred
Excellent analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and work well under tight deadlines
