Description:
Reporting to the Vice President, Global Marketing, the Marketing Manager will contribute to the development, management and communication of our product?s value proposition to our customers and to the industry. The marketing manager will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for all aspects of marketing including product marketing, marketing communications, lead generation, public relations, and analyst relations. The individual will providing cross-departmental coordination and manage planning and execution relative to events, sales tools, marketing collateral, and lead generation programs.
The successful candidate will partner closely with sales, product management, and engineering on everything from product launch and positioning, through collateral and sales tool creation, Web site development and management, Social media planning and execution, and lead generation and follow-up programs. The candidate will have exposure to all aspects of marketing, but will have primarily responsibility for managing events, collateral, Web site, BLOG, and social media accounts, and marketing analytics programs. Based upon the candidates experience and skill set, some aspects of the job are negotiable within the context of the overall marketing organization.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Events: Responsible for all aspects of International, national, and regional tradeshow management including:
Exhibit design, construction, and development of corporate booth properties.
Show logistics and management.
Vendor and industry association relationships.
Budget and capital expense management.
Contract negotiations and RFP development.
Researching, planning, and implementing promotions and events for new and existing markets.
Negotiating contracts with vendors and show hotels.
Leveraging all opportunities to increase brand identity and awareness.
Measuring and evaluating results against objectives and in terms that are relevant to the business.
Web Sites/Blogs/Social Media:
Program management of all aspects of corporate Web site, Blogs, and social media accounts
Content development
Design approvals
Management of 3rd party agencies and contractors
Marketing Communications/Collateral:
Strong Project Management Skills. Ability to multi task and manage projects simultaneously.
Strong graphic design skills preferred
Copywriting and editing.
Enforce corporate branding and identity standards.
Manage and coordinate collateral design and production.
Manage digital asset library and image retouching projects.
Assist in development of corporate branding projects, print collateral, product catalogs, launch materials, sales tools, tradeshow graphics, point of purchase displays and copywriting projects from concept to completion.
Manage program schedules, production, quality control, and budgets.
Ability to evaluate, select, manage and negotiate pricing with graphic services vendors and agencies.
Ability to work with photographers, design agencies, illustrators, copywriters, video producers, and printers to assure project completion in accordance with strategic plan, schedule, and budget.
Lead Management and Analytics:
Responsible for lead generation tracking and analytics. Ideal candidate will be familiar with CRM and marketing automation software.
Required Qualifications:
BA or equivalent in Marketing or Business
5 years+ of high tech Marketing Communications expertise
Event management experience
Dynamic team player with a ?can do? attitude. Proven ability to find innovative solutions to marketing challenges of any size and scope.
Excellent communication skills.
Graphic design and editing expertise
Ability to work cross-functionally across all levels of organizations.
Travel: 10-20% travel, varying seasonally
