The Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and work with the Advertising Sales Team and Executive Team on advertising sales and corporate marketing communications materials. The ideal candidate will be a highly talented, success-oriented person who enjoys new challenges, and will thrive in fast moving, growth-stage company environment. The ability to write and think clearly and strategically, manage multiple assignments while paying attention to detail, and produce high quality work is a must.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Thrive in a fast-paced growth-stage company environment, managing multiple assignments on deadline
- Understand media advertising sales and the online marketing space
- Have hands-on experience implementing a broad range of programs in the interactive media space (web site development, mobile applications, etc.)
- Be self-motivated to work independently, calling on the expertise of team members when needed.
Responsibilities Include
- Support the Marketing Director and Sales Team through the pre-sale RFP response process, including
o Collaborating with Sales to develop Campaign Brainstorm Briefs to generate strategic campaign proposals
o Collaborating with Sales to develop Creative Briefs guiding the development of creative RFP response deliverables
o Schedule development for various components of the RFP response
o Developing RFP Response presentations
o Maintaining a weekly Sales & Marketing Status Report
o Capturing and distributing meeting notes, following up on action items as necessary
- Support in Post Sale process and project management
o Work with Sales and Creative Services to ensure timely and accurate implementation of strategic custom programs
o Develop and oversee custom program development schedule from sale through launch
o Work with Sales to develop campaign reports
o Development of program case studies
- Managing company wide Marketing Communications, including developing sales collateral and general corporate presentations
- Working with Product Management to identify product monetization opportunities
- Assisting in coordination of events, including sales training programs
Core Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in online media sales, planning or buying
- Demonstrated ability to write, edit and produce compelling presentations and marketing collateral (samples should be provided)
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, is a must; experience in graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong understanding of the creative process in all media, especially Web
- Keen understanding of relevant cultural and advertising trends
- Strong sense of accountability and deadlines; you take pride in your accomplishments and want to contribute to the success of your team.
