Marketing Manager Peregrine Semiconductor
Peregrine Semiconductor is a fast-growing fabless provider of high-performance radio frequency integrated circuits or RFICs. As a member of the High Performance Solutions Marketing team, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for marketing and planning of high performance RFIC products for a broad range of applications. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and innovative environment to create and launch world-class RFIC products to market.
Roles & Responsibilities
This position will work under the direction of the Product Line Manager and has the following responsibilities:
Develop marketing launch plans to drive design wins and revenue growth for new products
Identify target markets, product segmentation, and new product requirements
Develop market requirements specifications (MRDs) and product requirements specifications (PRDs)
Develop business opportunity justifications for new products including NPV/ROI analysis
Perform market analysis to include TAM/SAM, use case models, and system requirements
Develop product strategies and create product roadmaps that align with long-term vision of the company.
Work with Marketing Communications team on web content, press releases and press briefing
Conduct competitive analysis and provide cross-reference for competitive parts
Develop marketing presentations and collateral for Sales, distribution partners, and customers.

Clear understanding of RF technology and market trends
Experience with roadmap planning and development of long-term marketing strategies
Experience with customer engagement, working with press analysts and performing product evangelism
Understanding of product life cycle from product conception, mass production, to end-of-life of
Understanding of product development process and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication as well as excellent technical writing and presentation skills
Sense of urgency to meet customer requirements and commitment to customer service and satisfaction
High level of integrity and work ethic
30% travel on average.

Education and Experience:
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and/or MBA in Marketing
At least 7 years of industry experience with 3-5 years in a product marketing role in a high tech environment
Experience working with Sales, customers, and press analysts
Experience in RFICs or analog, mixed signal semiconductors highly desirable.
