JiWire is looking for a seasoned marketing manager with 5-8 years of progressive experience in b2b, preferably marketing online or mobile to marketers/advertisers/brands. The role's emphasis is on marketing programs that support sales (collateral, events, etc.), website management, content development & social media. In addition the candidate needs to understand market research and analyzing marketing data to identify insights for our quarterly mobile audience insights report. Qualifications and responsibilities include:
Marketing online advertising/mobile industry experience/knowledge (ad networks/tech, RTB, DSP, programatic buying, etc.), OR a solid background leveraging online and/or mobile marketing.
B2B marketing experience, ideally marketing to the advertising industry.
Sales support programs (strategy, copy, design direction, internal collaboration & project management).
Collateral development (one pagers), pitch decks, case studies, media kits.
Basic event management.
Experience executing integrated marketing programs including website management, social media strategy & ongoing management and acquisition:
Website management experience.
The role requires active management including content, IA and user experience optimization, as well as helping to evolve our current site from Beta to a formal site (guided by the marketing director).
Website management (WordPress) specifics:
Daily ? understanding that the site is a living, breathing representation of our brand & company and requires ongoing management
Website best practices ? user experience, IA, lead generation focus, etc.
Posting new content (press releases, etc)
Creating new pages (not design or code, just ideation and content)
Blog (writing, content syndication)
Link building strategy
Website analytics (tracking links, SEO testing, A/B content testing, etc.)
Experience and comfortable creating social media from scratch (we need to aggressively launch strong strategies across multiple properties FB, LI, TW, G+) and managing (engaging & growing b2b audience/followers).
Marketing acquisition programs: demand/lead ten experience, SEM and online advertising testing.
Email marketing: launch email newsletter, ongoing quarterly insights research email distribution.
Managing creative/design resources (in house but needs specific direction re: visually conveying content/value prop for one pagers, website, etc)
Editorial calendar (blog, social in line w/PR)
Understanding of the benefit of and how to multipurpose content (efficiency)
Copywriting (website, email newsletter, sales collateral)
One pagers/sell sheets
Research reports/market research experience.
Experience determining survey questions and internal data requests.
Experience analyzing data and distilling it into actionable/informative/valuable insights for the market (see our Insights reports on our website for the research reports). This requires comfort level with indexing and normalizing data as needed to identify the key insights. Data is provided in a 'user friendly' review format from my data team, just requires an understanding of data analysis.
Marketing ROI Dashboard: manually compile & update program success tracking document.
Pull and analyze data from GA, social media metrics (free from LI, FB, Twitter & G+), email stats, SFDC, marketing programs, etc.
Touchpoint management: manage and update external & internal communications with new leadership metrics and revised messaging.
Attention to detail, open to offering new ideas and innovative ways to improve marketing programs and willingness to learn new areas of expertise (marketing related).
Have to love the growth stage/start up company environment.
Must be passionate about marketing and willing to give 110%.
