Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the MBA Intern in Marketing will be responsible for driving analysis and recommendations on strategic initiatives relating to Ticketfly?s products and service. Strong candidates for this role will be obsessed with data about the live events industry, ticket buying behavior, competitive and adjacent technologies, and Ticketfly product performance. You will be highly analytical and strategic, with a track record of success in identifying opportunities and presenting recommendations that drive business results. The ideal candidate will have considerable marketing and analytics experience with technology or live event products.
Perform partner research and develop a launch plan for a new product that will help Ticketfly partners increase profitability.
Identify key metrics required to help our partners (promoters, venues, and festivals) make decisions to optimize their marketing performance. Develop a prototype of an enhanced analytics report which provides these data in an actionable and consumable format.
Perform analysis of the competitive landscape, including product features and brand value offered by key competitors. Summarize and communicate findings to the Product and Sales teams.
Partner with members of the marketing team to create compelling marketing collateral for use in lead generation/warming, sales, and PR/brand-building.
Student currently enrolled in a full time MBA program
Expertise in data analysis and marketing with a track record of delivering outstanding results
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Ability to interpret data and make business recommendations
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding MS Office skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Experience driving results at an internet or technology company
Experience working with data analysis tools such as Tableau and Fusion Tables
