Marketing Operations Manager Scivantage
Position Summary:
The Marketing Operations Manager is a key position responsible for optimizing lead generation activities, providing analytic insight for business decision-making, ensuring accurate reporting and performance metrics and maximizing efficiency of the Sales and Marketing processes. This team member will manage and provide leadership in both analysis and reporting of key company metrics related to Sales and Marketing, as well as provide oversight on marketing systems and processes.
The goal of this position is to increase integrated marketing efficiency and to build a foundation for excellence. By reinforcing marketing with planning, metrics, process and best practices via end to end marketing optimization, this candidate will focus on setting and measuring Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) for Scivantage's integrated marketing initiatives. Through leadership and project management, this position will contribute to a world-class marketing organization by building operations for: campaign analysis/reporting, data management, budget planning and management and marketing automation systems and processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION(S):
- Provide reliable, consistent and timely results and metrics related to marketing campaigns and quantifies planned outcomes with strategic goals and measures Marketing's contribution to the business.
- Lead the creation and management of a Marketing Performance Dashboard that reports marketing investment/resources, marketing/sales effectiveness and overall campaign performance.
- Define, implement and manage CRM and marketing automation strategies. Implement campaigns and manage the day-to-day activities required to support demand generation efforts/programs, including segmentation, list building, data quality and reporting.
- Develop and drive the closed-loop lead generation/management process that provides business relevant information from campaign to close and is communicated to both Sales and Marketing team members.
- Identify and analyze key analytics for leads management and lead lifecycle including lead quality, lead creation, lead flow and marketing/sales program effectiveness. Track the flow of leads through the pipeline and work with the Lead Generation team to ensure follow up and report impact/ROI of lead generation programs.
- Develop ongoing marketing automation programs to manage all stages of lead development, from cold nurtured inquiries to closed opportunities. Plan and implement multi-step campaigns to achieve marketing goals established by Marketing Managers.
- Ongoing Audit of qualified/unqualified leads and Engage B2B/SFDC integration.
- Provide analytical support on marketing operations projects as needed, including but not limited to: analyzing data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits, and measuring the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs.
- Oversee and drive the budgeting process, in partnership with Finance, to meet corporate goals and maximize alignment of marketing investments. This includes quarterly reviews and tracking of progress against business objectives.
- Stay current on Marketing and Marketing Operations initiatives and be able to effectively present and support these initiatives at executive and organizational meetings and discussions.
- Train new and existing marketing/sales users on Salesforce.com and marketing automation systems and overall campaign/lead process.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 5-7 years of related work experience required, preferably in database marketing, lead generation/management and marketing/sales analysis roles for a B2B software/technology company
- Minimum of 3 years of email marketing and marketing automation experience with Silverpop Engage B2B or similar marketing automation software required
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience with Salesforce.com CRM. Salesforce.com certified administrator a plus
- Bachelor's Degree required Marketing, Math, Statistics or Technology focus (CSC / MIS) preferred
- Superior data management and analytical skills
- Proficient computer skills with web design/development experience and knowledge of direct and online marketing best practices
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision; desire to be in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and follow through. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take on responsibility and work well under deadlines
