Marketing Production Assistant
Lux Research (www.luxresearchinc.com) advises corporations on strategy in emerging technologies, with practices in areas including solar power, smart grid and grid storage, electric vehicles, alternative fuels, biosciences, nanomaterials, green buildings and water. Much of our work is cited in business publications such as The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and The New York Times.
The Marketing Production Assistant will work on a variety of media and social networking projects to drive marketing efforts leading to sales leads and opportunities. The best qualified candidates will have marketing experience using media (webinars, video, podcasts, etc) and social media to build our brand and result in new client acquisition.
This position is available in the Boston office and we are focusing our search on local candidates only at this time. Authorization to work in the US without restriction required.
Responsibilities:
Communications & marketing management including
Producing, recording and posting short videos, featuring Lux Research Analysts
Managing Lux Research webcasts including scheduling, recruiting, and helping to run the post-webinar campaigns
Designing, recording and posting a podcast series featuring Lux Research Analysts
Editing and compiling newsletters for publication
Providing high quality, consistent output and maintaining a strict schedule of deliverables
Proactively strategize on lead generation improvement and heightened quality of our leads through media use
Increasing the number of Lux Research inbound leads using media output
Working with Lux Research Analysts to maintain a consistent, strong external image
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in marketing or communications or related degree
Proven experience with audio and video recording, including 3-5 years corporate experience with samples of your work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing skills
Intellectual curiosity about emerging technology and its impact on business and society
Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Webex
Working knowledge of media programs such as Webcasting, HTML/CSS, Streaming, Photoshop CS5 or audio/video editing & production software highly desirable.
A well-organized, self-directed, detail-oriented approach to work
The ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively and work in a fast-paced; multi-national; growing environment
Strong time-management skills: able to manage own work flow as well as securing Analyst?s time to meet deliverable deadlines/product outputs
