Job Objectives:
We?re looking for a detailed and talented individual to manage our marketing programs from concept to delivery. The Marketing Programs Specialist will report to the Director of Corporate Marketing. This is both a strategic and tactical position and a qualified individual must be able to develop and execute on a variety of marketing initiatives including advertising campaigns, email, etc.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in the execution and implementation of the company?s overall annual marketing plan.
Create and implement marketing programs and campaigns for a defined product and/or service line within the company?s offerings in accordance with the marketing plan.
Work with domain experts to develop effective messaging and collateral, which could include brochures, case studies, testimonials, presentations, logos, web site presence, email copy, graphics.
Ensures that all locally-developed creative marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines.
Demonstrated success supervising and maintaining Marketing plans, programs, and initiatives that are strategic assets to the business and all clients.
Execute the day to day delivery of email marketing campaigns, e-newsletters, invitations, etc.
Provide assistance to regional marketing managers to execute local email and direct marketing programs.
Develop a lead nurturing program strategy and monitor ongoing campaigns.
Collaborate with regional marketing teams to identify opportunities to develop lead nurture pathways.
Community-building for assigned market segment(s), including but not limited to social media such as LinkedIn Groups, opt-in e-newsletters, tips and tricks, and other communications of interest to our clients and potential prospects.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Minimum 5 years marketing experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (e.g., website content, advertising copy, etc.) required.
Strong project management and execution skills.
Grammatical, spelling, and editing skills.
Working proficiency with full MS Office professional suite and and salesforce.com.
Understanding of lead generation programs with experience creating and implementing campaigns.
Experience with Salesforce.com and marketing automation tools required.
Ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.
BA/BS or equivalent education.
Education or experience in scientific discipline preferred.
Travel Required:
Occasional ? to trade shows and other relevant events.
