Marketing Programs and Demand Generation Manager - San Francisco MuleSoft

MuleSoft seeks an execution-oriented Marketing Programs and Demand Generation Manager to create and drive campaigns and programs across all of MuleSoft's products. This role works with other Marketing functions including Product Marketing, PR, and the Web team, driving projects and deliverables to raise awareness and adoption of MuleSoft products and deliver high quality leads to the Sales team. Programs include email marketing, online advertising and creative list-building.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Create and drive a direct email marketing program, including community newsletters, product announcements, and other online campaigns
- Work with Product Marketing to execute outbound marketing campaigns targeted at Java developer and IT operations audiences, including product messaging, audience segmentation, and effective communication across channels (e.g., email, ads, webinars, and events)
- Own and master the marketing automation infrastructure (Marketo) and use it to create and manage lead nurturing programs to multiple lead segments
- Generate leads and awareness by managing webinars and IT industry events
POSITION DELIVERABLES:
- Drive top-line marketing qualified leads (MQLs) to support MuleSoft's enterprise marketing plan for 2012 and beyond
- Accelerate developer adoption of Mule through creative developer marketing - user groups, hackathons, and java industry conferences
- Continually drive Marketing effectiveness through a test-and-measure based approach to programs and the creation and management of program-level KPIs and reports
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Demonstrated impact in marketing programs management and/or demand generation
- A track record of successfully managing and delivering multiple projects in parallel
- Familiarity with marketing automation (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce.com)
- Stellar quantitative and analytical abilities
- 2 - 5 years of experience
