We are looking for a dynamic marketing professional with proven experience who will be responsible for the development of marketing campaign strategies and execution. This role requires a highly self-motivated individual who can quickly become familiar with a wide range of concepts, market trends and effective demand-generation techniques in the high-tech, enterprise security software market. This person will be responsible for building creative marketing campaigns that deliver tangible sales results through multiple sales channels. The primary goal of this marketing manager is to generate leads through targeted, outbound cold calling and field marketing campaigns and other strategies and programs, including: online and email activities, city-to-city tours, local events, webinars, educational workshops, and other face-to-face activities.
Job Description & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities to ensure Solera Networks success include:
Develop, execute and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote Solera Networks products
Research and create strategic field marketing plans to help generate leads for inside, channel and strategic partner sales teams (includes trade shows, events, tours, etc.)
Create, drive and measure marketing programs success
Partner with sales managers to specify needs and opportunities in identified regions
Leverage marketing material and sales tools to push campaign activities forward
Analyze and report on ROI of marketing campaigns and activities
Manage webinar programs, including speaker procurement, promotion and invitation, target list development, post event follow-ups, Web postings, and internal communications
Customize messaging for improved campaign and Inside Sales outbound call efforts
Ensure pipeline growth for sales team within target markets
Required Skills/Knowledge
5+ years experience in campaign marketing, product marketing, and/or field marketing for high technology products (Security products a plus)
College Degree (BS/BA) required
Strong B2B marketing and analytical skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Experience driving enterprise technology demand
Experience supporting both direct and indirect sales channels
Experience building integrated web campaigns
Strong performer with a proven drive to succeed and guarantee extraordinary success
CRM, specifically SalesForce expertise
Experience with lead nurturing solutions like Eloqua, Marketo, ExactTarget, etc.
Experience with other sales tools like Leadlander, Jigsaw, DiscoverOrg, etc. a plus
Strong organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels, especially the sales organization
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently in changing environments, and the ability/willingness to learn
Creative thinker that brings ideas from concept to execution
Self-motivated and a team player
Some travel required 10%
