Marketing Programs Manager Bloomfire
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We are seeking an extraordinary individual who can keep pace with a high-performing sales team, delivering what they need before they even ask. Sure, our internal goal is to increase pipeline volume, lead velocity and opportunity conversion rates to achieve our revenue objectives. But it's more than that. We know that our technology is helping companies be more effective than they ever were before. The mission is to get the news out to future customers. There are many ideas about what we could do, we need someone to jump in, prioritize campaigns, build them out, execute, and repeat. We are ready to amp up our activities and need your help to pull it off.
The Director, Demand Gen will be working with a small and dynamic team based in Austin, reporting to the VP of Marketing. If you've been looking for a spot with a product you can get behind and a chance to bring a company to the next level, keep reading.
. Plan and execute marketing programs designed to generate leads for the sales organization.
. Create campaigns with clear definition of the target persona (we have the personas defined for you already), which tactics you recommend for reaching them, and a detailed plan outlining what you need to pull off the campaign.
. Work with other members of the team to implement campaign elements (e.g. scheduling webinars, ensuring papers are published, working on email templates and landing pages) and launch as planned.
. Monitor results through scorecards that you have helped to create and optimize campaign tactics as campaigns are underway and done. 'Succeed Swiftly' is how we operate, which means you've got to be comfortable with change.
. Work and collaborate with different stakeholders as you build out plans and monitor results. As this position does not have direct reports, you need to be hands-on. You'll be working mostly with sales and marketing, but we're a small company, which means that engaging the organization in unique ways to let all know what you're cooking up would be a cool thing to do as well.
. Use Salesforce.com, Marketo, Google Adwords, LinkedIn Ads, Wordpress, and lots of other tools including our own Bloomfire platform.
. Plan marketing, refine the target personas, and incorporate what you're learning into the bigger picture of the success of the company. You'll need to stay on top of our product roadmap and refine plans as new features and capabilities become available as well.
. You've been designing and delivering marketing programs for at least five years, with a proven track record of delivering leads to your organization.
. You have worked across a breadth of marketing activities, from launching webinars, to executing emails and landing pages, to managing ad spend. Basically, you bring with you a list of things you've done before and will make recommendations based on what you think will work for Bloomfire. If there's something you haven't tried before, but your professional circles indicate the activity could produce results, you're prepared to learn how to make it happen and tell us why it's worth a try.
. You bring knowledge of Salesforce.com and marketing automation tools (we work with Marketo, which would be amazing if you have too, but familiarization with any of the other ones, like Eloqua, Act-On etc., will do).
. You've demonstrated soft skills that contribute to being successful in this role: you are organized and detail-oriented, without losing sight of the bigger mission; you can communicate your ideas clearly and accept feedback to help you shape plans; you are flexible when things don't go as planned and rebound quickly to bring the team back on the path to success; you love the challenge of Figuring It Out.
. You have knowledge of what it takes to sell software and/or understand the technology space. If you've been a Rock Star delivering leads in another industry, we still want to hear from you.
. You have the ability to work in a small environment, where you're used to a fast-pace and changing on a dime. Things can get a little hectic around here when we're all trying to win!
Do you qualify and are you ready? Have you got what it takes to work on the Bloomfire team? Please send your resume to resumes at bloomfire.com. We are reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
Want to be the first person we call? Tell us about the coolest lead gen activity you've run so far: what you did and why it was cool. Throw in a little context for us if it helps to tell your story.
